Is it wrong of me to think that we focus too much about how bad men are on Tumblr. I mean, can we just focus on how bad people are in general instead? The bronies are made up of a lot of different people, and a good chunk of them terrible. Hell it's bad when Bronies try to be edgy with Ponies, recently someone made a "Misandry is Magic" Poster with the ponies, and that's just as forced a meme. Sorry just me thinking "Jesus everyone is just fucking terrible"

I saw that Misandry is Magic poster, and I couldn’t help but laugh. But you do have a point. Everyone in the fandom (and everyone in general) has the capability of being dumb, so there’s no need to focus one one. That said, it would be funny if we got some “rabid idiot pegasister” related stuff in here sometime too.

I've heard some Equestria Girls detractors posit that the film had potentially dubious effects on its target audience which the cartoon outright evaded, e.g. the human designs and costumes are more likely to make young children feel self-conscious. Your thoughts?

Well from what I’ve seen of the outfits, it’s basically your by-the-numbers doll fashion designs, and since Equestria Girls was much more obvious with its marketing than MLP:FiM, I guess it’s more noticeable. That said, I don’t think it would make a young child feel self-conscious, mainly because I don’t imagine Equestria Girls becoming a fashion trend. But that’s just me.

Instead of spamming ‘you will join the herd’ just leave your non-brony friends/relatives alone about it. If they had wanted to watch the show, they would have already.

Continuing to persist when a person has no interest often leads to rabid idiot brony syndrome. And no one wants that.

Tez: I can say it’s the same with my sister. She gets the pony stuff sometimes, but I generally keep it to just my fellow MLP-loving friends.
