Inspired in one of my DA buds comment:
Lex_Light: I wanted to make this since forever, but I didn’t until I watched at least a few episode of LPS, which BTW, is a good show, at least IMO.
Explanation:
In the early days of the LPS show, when some Bronies saw Zoe Trent (the doggie from “Littlest Pet Shop”, who I think that she’s cool and adorable), they’d say things like “TUALAIGH IS NAW A DOG” or “TUALAIGH BARKOL” or “SHIS A RIPOF OF TUALAIGH SPARKOL!!!!!11ONEONE!”. I am thinking that this is still happening, but in a minor measure.
Saying that Zoe Trent is a ripoff of Twilight Sparkle is like saying that the one who’s using the same hairstyle on a movie is a ripoff of other person who’s using that hairstyle on another movie OF THE SAME COMPANY.
Also, while Twilight is more of a student, Zoe’s more of a doggie diva who’s, at times, overdramatizing over some things.
(But that doesn’t mean I hate Twilight Sparkle, in fact, she’s my favorite unicorn: I only hate those “Twilight Barkle” jokes).

So apparently slapping pre-planned wings onto a unicorn who happens to be the sole student of a princess & giving her a royal title is sort of like the apocalypse for rabid-bronies…. Who knew?
In all serious though, am getting really tired of seeing all the rant posts from butthurt self-entitled bronies everywhere I go. Ok, Twilight’s becoming a princes, big whoop. Stop panicking and reading into it too much. Remember, this is a show geared towards young kids, so all that crap about “Oh no! Twilight’s gonna lose her friends or out live them baaaaww!” is ridiculous. Just calm the fuck down and let others watch the show in peace.
When will rabid idiot bronies learn that they are NOT Hasbro’s target audience? Sure they may occasionally slip some subtle “fanservice” in from time to time, but MLP is now and always will be a children’s show. There will never be nightmare fuel, intense adult drama, overly complex plots, or anything else that would defy the show’s happy, kid friendly theme. Either learn to love it or simply find something else to watch.
Missy: And also, you can’t say something is good from drama and nightmare fuel alone. It needs to have purpose. MLP:FiM is a light-hearted slice-of-life comedy, so there is no place for insane nightmare fuel. There is no purpose, which will ultimately make any overly dramatic or scary (for the sake of it) scene fall flat on its ass.
I’ve noticed the whole Yamino thing coming up lately on this blog and I couldn’t help but bring my own views on the situation.
Seriously, why attack a fan that has nothing to do with the change when it’s Hasbro that made it in the first place? I’m not saying that people should bother Hasbro but if you have a problem with something, talk about it with them.
